I was just in Miami and toured Miami Beach to see all of the interesting architecture and design, both old and new. Banners were flying all over Miami and Miami Beach for the Maison & Objet Americas Trade Show scheduled for May 12 – 15. Annually held in Paris, Maison & Objet has selected Miami Beach for its setting in the Americas, and Singapore for its setting in Asia (already held March 10-13, 2015).
The four day trade show features an Interior Design and Lifestyle Summit with several distinguished speakers including designer Juan Montoya, designer Kelly Hoppen, industrial designer Karim Rashid, architect David Rockwell, and architect Lee Mindel, and many others. Along with the summit programs, Maison & Objet highlights include prestigious award presentations for Designer of the Year and Rising American Talents.
Maison & Objet Americas features a trade show marketing a wide array of furniture, furnishings, lighting, accessories and more. The Miami Beach event will bring together over 300 brands covering International Home Design and Home Decoration. Maison & Objet is considered a leading international gathering of design and trade professionals. Hopefully it will be an annual Miami Beach event!
