Green finishes and colors are very popular for interior design projects right now! Just in time for summer, greens are leading the way in trending colors. I just finished a master bathroom project with a soft gray green painted vanity combined with a beautiful gray/green/cream textured floor tile and ivory and gray subway shower wall tile, and a fun kitchen renovation project with beautiful sage green cabinets.

In terms of project materials, Fantasy Green quartzite is one of my favorite granite counter top choices. It looks beautiful with soft green cabinets, ever-popular white cabinets, or gray cabinet finishes. Green Marinace (aka Jurassic Green or Green Riverstone) granite is also consistently popular. And, Costa Esmerelda granite lends a subtle and elegant green touch to kitchen or bath renovation projects.

For some fresh new draperies for a client’s home here on Cape Cod, I’ve been putting together some wonderful fabric options that feature fun combinations of soft blues and greens – a great coastal look! A soft green area rug with a classic trellis design will complement the fabric choice, the sage green paint we selected for the walls, and white wicker accent furniture. Fun!
