Many of my interior design projects include exterior renovations, improvements and updates. For example, I just completed a home renovation project with an area builder that transformed a simple, dark, worn out cottage into a bright new home with a traditional exterior and a transitional and sophisticated interior. The exterior was completely updated by adding a second floor and by renovations that included my specifications for fresh new gray/green siding, dark green shutters and new exterior trim details.
Inside the house, the kitchen was gutted, opened up to adjacent rooms to create larger, bright spaces, and updated with white, Shaker style cabinets and Azul Platino granite.The bathrooms were renovated with new cabinets, granite counter tops and tile. Accent tiles in the bathrooms added customized details. The entire home was painted with a refreshing color palette that keeps things light and neutral rather than locking into a narrow or dark color scheme.
Through teamwork and careful planning, a small and tired looking cottage was turned into a great looking home with a completely fresh look!
