Looking ahead to fall, and linking to the current trend in using gray and beige background paint color schemes, I think that plum, purple, russet, deep red and olive green are going to be key this fall. These colors can add beautiful accents via area rugs, pillows, drapery fabrics and accessories while allowing a neutral background and neutral upholstery. Lots of texture and patterns will warm things up.
