On several new construction projects and renovation projects this summer, gray has been the prominent color selected for paint schemes and materials. For the past several years warm color schemes have prevailed (and are still very popular and beautiful) with lots of beige, brown and gold incorporated via materials such as Giallo Ornamental granite or St. Cecilia granite. However, preferences for gray color schemes are taking the lead on several current projects. Granite choices include Luna Pearl, Azul Platino and Delicatus White.
Large 12″ x 24″ tiles such as Walker & Zanger’s Stark and Geotech lines in Gray are very popular with clients for bathrooms, kitchens and mud rooms.
Off white kitchen cabinets with dove gray accents are very popular at the moment, with hefty polished chrome or polished nickel knobs and pulls. Lighting – polished chrome or polished nickel accents on dressy glass pendants.
