This summer I’ve had the opportunity to specify some wonderful lighting products for a kitchen and bathroom renovation. On many projects based in New England, traditional styles prevail. In this case, the client lives in a classic New England colonial home but opted to jazz up a beautiful custom kitchen with unique and unexpected accents. For example, the kitchen pendants lights and the chandelier we selected are “Caboche” suspension fixtures from Foscarini. The lighthearted but sophisticated style of these fixtures adds just the right amount of urban glamour to a suburban home.
On the same project, I also specified new ceiling lights and sconces from Visual Comfort Lighting for a hallway and a very sophisticated powder room. The hefty polished nickel finishes and beautifully designed details by Thomas O’Brien add an elegant touch to the overall project.
