I’m excited to be working with Seaver Construction and Century 21 North Shore/Braese Realty Group on a new townhome development north of Boston, called Baldwin Woods, in Woburn MA. As the lead design consultant, I’ll specify all exterior materials and finishes such as roofing, siding, decking, trim, shutters, door colors, and site lighting. With a total of 41 units in nine clusters, I’ve specified three exterior color combinations to complement one another, creating variety but also consistency as one walks or drives through the complex.
I’ll then shift to interior finishes to provide options for hardwood and tile flooring, carpet, kitchen cabinet styles and finishes, counter tops, bathroom tile and accent tile, lighting and paint colors. My role is to provide the developer, project manager, realtors and buyers with a range of great looking options, so that all selections come together with style. The interior finish spectrum will provide a good looking palette of neutral but interesting materials and colors. Variations of neutrals such as beige and gray will provide backgrounds that will be easy to work with and allow lots of personalization. Accents such as granite colors and tile accents will provide pop.
As the project moves along I’ll update with information on the materials and colors that we’ll be working with. This is my fourth large scale, multi-unit project with Seaver Construction. I also work with them on many private residential construction projects as their interior design consultant. Each project is specialized with the setting, architectural style and budget in mind.
It’s fun and challenging to work on these projects, and the results are consistently excellent!
